How do we do MATH THEIR WAY?

We do Concept- based and Problem Solving Mathematics. Through independent, collaborative and teacher-directed learning engagements, children build on their math proficiency in the areas of: conceptual understanding, procedural knowledge & fluency, strategic competence, productive disposition and adaptive reasoning.

 

Class time is dedicated to making sure children understand concepts behind the Math activities they are doing while capitalizing on mathematical power: reasoning, communication and forming connections.

 

Automaticity in number operations is developed across the grade levels and grounded on solid foundations of math concepts which are learned at the primary levels.
